3 Weeks
The days have seriously started blurring together and the weeks are just flying by! We've been a little spoiled the last few weeks since Lisa has been here. But we held her hostage long enough and had to let her go home finally. She left on Friday morning, an emotional experience for us all. And we've been on our own since... Ahhh!!! It's been an interesting adjustment full of lots of highs and lows.
I have decided that we need more nap time...or should I say "I" need more nap time. I'm learning to let things go a bit and sleep when baby sleeps so that I won't have huge meltdowns at 2:00am anymore. :)
Cannon loves napping. He is a heavy sleeper and will sometimes be out heavy for so long I have to wake him up so he'll eat. This week he's started having more "wake time" though. He likes to sit in his bouncy chair.

Cannon likes sleeping with his arms out. At night he'll get really frustrated if we swaddle him with his arms in and will wiggle or cry until we unwrap them.

Happy awake time in the morning with daddy!
Cannon still has all his hair and it is continuing to grow and fill in. It is starting to lighten a little. We saw pictures of both myself and Lisa as babies with full heads of dark hair. So he could have it from either side of the family. Cannon continues to pull his own hair occasionally and makes himself cry. Silly boy.

Even the little tufts of hair on his ears are growing. Tee hee!

Pulling his hair :( Silly baby.
We got adventurous this last weekend and made our first trip to IF. We went to Target to do some more shopping for the bambino and then had dinner at Mongolian Grill. Cannon slept the whole trip. :)
We've started doing some tummy time the last couple days. Baby was skeptical the first try and cried. But our next try I let him have some naked, "airing out" time and he really enjoyed it.
We have lots of videos, but they won't ever post on this blog....I've tried a couple things over the last few days (hence, the lateness of this posting.) Once I get videos figured out I'll have to do a whole post of just videos from his first day home as well as current...and of course everything in between.
Here are some other random pictures from the week.

I love the top picture of him smiling with the bear. As for the videos, I've had to upload mine first to youtube, save them as "unlisted" and then click "share" and get the "embed" code. It's html and then you can just cut and paste that directly into the blog posting.
