Tums...My favorite treat

Today starts week 29 and I'm feeling pretty good for the most part. There is still, of course, the daily battle with keeping my feet from looking like empanadas by the end of the day, as well as the need to carry around Tums in my purse and eat them like candy (the tropical fruit ones really teeter on the verge of actually tasting like candy).

People have told me that I don't look very big for being 29 weeks. I take it as a compliment and count my blessings that I am tall and have room for baby to grow. I can still wear a lot of my regular clothes (with some adjustments of course) and I'm pretty sure my belly button has decided to stay it's regular shape and not pop out....at least for now. :)

It's been a really busy and stressful week for both Anthony and me. Work and school are keeping Anthony on his toes and there are lots of changes going on for me at work that make the long days seem even longer. And have I mentioned yet that the restrooms at my office are literally at the other side of the building from my office....yeah....that's already starting to get fun. So needless to say, we are very happy that the weekend has made it's arrival.

I'm hoping that this weekend holds in store some time devoted to getting Peanut's room ready. We've always used the "spare room" as a guest room/office, so there's still furniture in there we need to get rid of and make way for a crib, dresser, etc. I'm not really stressed about putting the whole room together, I take comfort in the advice I've been given that he's a baby and really doesn't know or care what his room looks like. But I would feel a little more prepared if we at least didn't have the blankets and clothes and few items we've stocked up in a big pile in the middle of the floor.

Here's my inspiration for Cannon's room. I LOVE the aqua with navy and the bright green. And then we're going to add a little bit of a Superman theme to it.
